Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, well-known for her character Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. Her acting career began as a stage actor in the 1950s starting by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. She continued to perform in various Broadway shows before going famous in the national stage space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. She also released her first music album called It's time for Tina that same year. Louise started her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she played Griselda Walden in God's little Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive success and Louise won an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. This time she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. Her contract was signed with CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work in between Broadway TV and Hollywood, portraying more somber role as opposed her perception of being an glamor girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She also appeared as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the last couple of years she's also made her name by being a successful and acclaimed director in several well-known television series like Supernatural in addition to The 100. Her family moved from Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for childhood and adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
