Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She's best known as Bo on the Showcase TV series Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The daughter of Peter an academic as well as Ilkay Silk who is a renowned performer, actress, and playwright and director of drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with earliest memories of watching television and attending play rehearsals. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for kids. Silk graduated from St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was able to move from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple was wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. After she had converted to Judaism the couple were married again in the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk has a number of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for Gemini Awards in 2009 to play this character. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the third season finale episode and broke the news to fans of the series in an episode of the Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th that the series was returning in its production. Fourth season began on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN's Cable News Network named her performance as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite television Couples.
