Tessa Thompson
Tessa Lynn Thompson, an actor and songwriter who hails who hails from Los Angeles was born in 1983. The actress is the daughter musician and singer Marc Anthony Thompson and the granddaughter of actor-musician Bobby Ramos. Her birthplace was in Los Angeles and raised there before relocating to Brooklyn. She's of Mexican, British Isles and Afro-Panamanian heritage. Thompson attended Santa Monica High School, where she played in numerous theatre productions. After graduation, she enrolled in Santa Monica College, where she earned a degree in cultural Anthropology. As Juliet, she portrayed William Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet" as part of an Pasadena California production by The Boston Court Theatre. It was the same year that her performance won an NAACP Theatre Nomination. Her first appearance on television was on the air in 2005. She was on CBS.
