Cheryl Hines
Cheryl Ruth Hines was born on September 21, 1965 in Miami Beach, Florida, to Rosemary (Graham) and James Hines The couple her family resided in Tallahassee, Florida. She attended West Virginia University as well as Florida State University before graduating from the University of Central Florida. She studied theater and television production. However, it wasn't until she relocated into Los Angeles and studied at the Groundlings Theater that she felt she'd learned something about comedy. The first instructor she had was Lisa Kudrow. She began to learn how to create improvised scenes, and later sketch comical sketches. The experience she gained assisted her in preparing to play Larry David's wife on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). Because the dialogue is often improvised in comedy dramas, she's at home. In the Groundlings Theater is where she performs when time permits.
